Manchester City manager Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 stated that Carlos Tevez can leave Eastlands if he wants
Manchester City manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini has gone on give Argentine striker, Carlos Tevez the option to part ways with the Eastland at the end of the season, should he feel he no longer wants to be a part of the club.
Earlier this season, Tevez went on to hand in a transfer request, but almost immediately went on to withdraw it. However, ever since then, there have been countless rumours stating that the player is going to be leaving the club at the end of the season.
It was previously assumed that the only reason that he didn’t leave the club in January, was because Mancini didn’t let him.
In order to clear the air, Mancini has come forth and openly stated, that the player should leave the team, if he really is unhappy.
The manager is reported to have said: "If I'm not happy to stay, then
I'll leave. It's the same for the players. If they aren't happy to stay, it's better they leave"
"Carlos has got a five-year contract, but in my opinion a player should stay here because he believes in the project and he's happy to stay at the club.
"I have never said that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 wants to leave - I said that it would be his decision. At the moment, he has a five-year contract here.”
The manager then turned his attention to the fact that no one player is the reason behind City’s success and added: "He's scored 22 goals and that's very important. But we've got this far because
all the players have contributed.”
In Manchester City’s last game against Tottenham Hotspur, Tevez and Mancini were spotted having some sort of a bust up. The player got up to warm up, but after realizing that he wasn’t going to come on, sat back down on the bench. One he did so, he was forced
by the manager to get back up and warm up, since he was about to come on. Tevez seemed to lose his patience with the manager’s inability to make up his mind and ended up giving him a piece of his mind as well.
Nonetheless, should Tevez actually be made available on the transfer market, there are bound to be a number of suitors for the player. At the moment, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan are rumoured to be showing the most interest in landing the player, while other are stating
that Real Madrid might end up landing the powerful striker.
