Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure lashes out on former coach Pep Guardiola – La Liga News
Former Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure has lashed out on his former coach Pep Guardiola, blaming the manager for his departure from Camp Nou.
The Manchester City man revealed that he did not understand why he was let go, as he had good communication with the coach and had stated his desire to continue with the European champions.
"Guardiola, when I asked, said funny things. So I went to the City. In a year I would not talk to him. If he had spoken to me I would have stayed at the club. I did not want to leave.”

The Ivory Coast international stated that when he talked to the manager, he was not forthcoming and did not give him a clear answer. He said he could not understand his explanations and was ignored by the manager until the offer from the Citizens came.
"I spoke with Guardiola but he left me blank. His explanations were a bit vague and he ignored me until I had the offer from City. My family was laughing because they thought it was a joke my situation at the club with Guardiola," the Manchester City midfielder
said.
Toure lamented that the coach did not have any confidence in him and did not spoke to him in the beginning. Nevertheless, he acknowledged that he loved his time with La Blaugrana, and would like to return again for them.
