Manchester City not done spending just yet – Premier League Update
Manchester City manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini has gone on to confirm that City aren’t done spending in the transfer market, just yet.
The team went on to recently sign Atletico Madrid forward, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero, in what is being hailed as the best buy of the summer so far. However, despite that fact, the team doesn’t seem to be satisfied for some odd reason.
Mancini, went on to admit that Aguero was a great addition to the team and the club really needed a young forward, who could mix things up for the team.
When talking about Aguero, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 is quoted to have said: "Sergio is another striker, he is a young striker, I think that we need a player like him"
However he immediately went on to state that in order to compete with the other teams in the Champions league and in the Premier League, the team still needed some serious reinforcements.
"But if we want to compete with all the other top teams - Champions League or Premier League - we need other players, but the club are working in this way."
The manager then went on to narrow down his scope, as he added that the two players that he wished to sign, were a midfielder and a winger.
Mancini ended by confirming this as he added:"The middle and like a winger.
"One midfielder, one winger."
The manager soon turned his attention back to Aguero and what he expected from the player. Mancini stated that he wished that he could replicate Romario in front of the goal. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Romario-c31667, who happens to be a Brazilian goal scoring legend, has netted over a thousand goals in his career
"And I hope that he can score all the goals that Romario scored!"
From the looks of things, there seems to be a lot of pressure being placed on Aguero’s shoulders. The team, his fans and he himself will be looking for the forward to gain top form, once he does make his Premier league debut for City.
Nonetheless, what seems to be more important, is the fact that Mancini isn’t done spending just yet. The manager has made it clear that he wants a winger and a midfielder and that is exactly what he will try to get, over the course of the coming weeks.
At the moment there are no favourites, but a list of names is bound to be linked with City in the immediate future.
From the looks of things, City are going to give almost everyone a run for their money, this coming season.
