Manchester City once again looking to bring in Edin Dzeko
According to numerous sources, it has been reported that Manchester City manager Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has been handed a small transfer kitty to spend on players in the January transfer window. As a result Mancini seems to have already decided on what player he
wants to bring in. Mancini is looking to spend 38 million pounds on finally trying to land Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg.
The manager has found it rather hard at maintaining his spot in the top four in the English Premier League, despite having spent over 100 million pounds in the summer. The manager has now identified Dzeko to be the player who could make the difference, and
help the team secure a spot in the top four of the league.
If City manage to secure the player, then they will go ahead and smash their own all time transfer record in the Premier League. Last time around City went on to spend a whopping 32.5 million pounds to sign Robinho from Real Madrid. As a result of that
move being sorted out in a hap-hazard manner, it was one of the biggest failures in the transfer market. City will however be hoping they do not meet the same fate, if they go on to secure the services of Dzeko.
However the only mystery that remains, is whether or not Wolfsburg will allow their captain to leave. The player has in the past expressed his displeasure with the team and the way it is being managed. He was even involved in a row with the manager over
a substitution decision. As a result there was speculation that the player would be looking to move away from the club. However Wolfsburg went on to deny any speculations in this regard.
Experts believe that if a substantial bid is made for the want away striker, then Wolfsburg will have no option but to part with their prized asset.
