Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour backs Roberto Mancini – Premier League Update
Manchester City owner, Sheikh Mansour has gone on to back http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini, as he believe the Italians is the right man to help his side go on and win the Premier Leauge this season. At the same time, Mansour believes the team is on the right track and it
is only a matter of time before they go on and start lifting the trophies.
However, the owner has gone on to make it clear that the team’s primary objective is to win the Premier League this season and for that very reason, he has not been too disappointed with the way the team has been performing in the Champions League. In fact,
he has been delighted over the fact that City are now in the Carling Cup semi finals and feels that the team is potentially in line to land at least one or two trophies this season.
When talking about the team, Mansour is quoted to have said: “We are all satisfied with what has been achieved, the success and development at this level, but you must have patience”
He then went on to assure that he was behind Mancini all the way, as he went on to add:
“Sometimes I meet a lot of Emirati and Arab brothers in London, and see them criticise the work of the manager Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323, but I think that his plans are going on the right path.”

“We have to ask ourselves where we have been and what Manchester City have become now, just to realise that what we have accomplished is great. Hard work is still required, but without any hurry.”
At the moment, the chances of City progressing into the next round of the Champions League seems rather slim. However, should City manage to beat Bayern Munich and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 lose out to Villarreal, the team could make it through to the next round of the tournament.
Apart from that, City are still in contention to winning the Premier League, the Carling Cup and the FA Cup, which in all honesty, is rather amazing for the club.
Mancini is not the first manager to be criticized for the way he manages a team and he is most probably not the last manager to be criticized as well. As a result, given the owners backing of the manager, it seems irrelevant as to what the critics feel about
him, as long as he full fills the boards requirements and brings home a trophy or two at the end of the season.
