Manchester City pull out of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexis-Sánchez-c4979 hunt –Premier League Update
Manchester City manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini has gone on to confirm that his side are no longer interested in landing Udinese winger, Alexis Sanchez.
The manager has made these comments only hours after his side were rumoured to be on the brink of landing the winger.
It was previously believed that City had made a bid worth around thirty five million pounds for the twenty two year old, which was significantly less than the forty four million pound valuation that Udinese placed on the players head.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are rumoured to be the only other club that are looking to land the player, however, from the looks of things, they might now be the only team looking to land the player.
Mancini recently went on to state, that despite having positive talks with the winger initially, it now seems like there is no chance of him joining the club.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 is quoted to have said: "I talked to Sanchez, he said he was willing to come to City.
"But after the last offer we are out of the race for the Chilean player."
These comments from Mancini seem to be rather intriguing. City, if anything are not a team to give way, when in pursuit of a player. We can assume at this point, that the player’s comments of only wanting to join Barcelona might have had some effect on the
team’s decision.
Nonetheless, what we can now expect, is for City to go looking for another player, who plays in almost the same position as Sanchez. At the moment, the only other player that comes to mind, is Porto’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move to City in the past, but, with no other team looking to land the player as yet, City might just test their luck as they make a move for the forward in the near future.
