The Premier League leaders have rejected Nerazzurri’ bid for the want-away Argentine international; PSG now considered favourites for the striker’s signature.
Recent reports from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 suggest that Manchester City have rejected Inter Milan’s 25 million Euros offer for their former captain, Carlos Tevez.
The striker has been bench-held at Etihad Stadium, and has been linked with a move away from the club for the past few months. A.C Milan were initially interested in signing the Argentine international, but they have failed to
agree terms with the English outfit.
Nerazzurri President, Massimo Moratti, recently revealed that they have placed an offer for the former Manchester United star. Moratti is still coy over singing the striker, and believes that it will be tough to secure his signature.
The Inter patron was talking to Sky Sport Italia where he revealed the club’s future strategy. Moratti believes that Tevez can be a useful player, but http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 will not be held to ransom for his signature. Furthermore, according to
the President, there has been no response from the English outfit at the moment.
“We have to see if it’s worth the bother. Tevez is an interesting player. We haven’t received any response from Manchester City yet. Now we have to see if it’s worth the bother of signing him, especially as other clubs are tracking
the player. It wouldn’t be bad to win the ‘derby’ on the transfer market, though.” Moratti said.
French giants Paris Saint-Germain are now being considered front-runners in race to sign the prolific striker. Reports suggest that PSG are looking to table a 30 million Euros bid for Tevez after missing out on the signing of A.C
Milan striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexandre-Pato-c4901.
Reports also suggest that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799 might be added to the Tevez deal in order to make it more interesting for the Blues. However, Moratti mooted the rumours and claimed that the Dutch star is not for sale.
“Sneijder is not for sale. More youngsters will arrive, because that is the project,” stated the President.
