Manchester City set to lose out on Udinese forward Alexis Sanchez – Premier League Update

who now sees Barcelona to be his only destination.
The prolific wing wizard has apparently gone ahead and handed his team an ultimatum, which states that he either joins Barcelona, or he stays at Udinese.
A source has quoted Sanchez to have said: "Either it's Barcelona or I will stay [at Udinese]."
Should these words be true, it would not be the first time that Sanchez made his demands to move to Barcelona rather clear. the Udinese board seem to have been blinded by City’s over the top offers for the player, which has caused them to almost completely ignore what the player has been saying all along.
So far, City were reported to be willing to pay as much as thirty six million pounds for the player initially and another five million based on performances, later on. On the other hand, Barcelona were only willing to offer as much as thirty five million
pounds for the player, in one instalment.
These new developments regarding Sanchez and his future, have come only a couple of days after Udinese claimed that Barcelona were well out of the race to land the winger. The player is currently under contract with the club until 2014 and should the team

Nonetheless, this situation that seems to be developing does not seem to favour City. The team were avoiding going all out and spending ridiculous amounts of cash on players left and right, however, all of that might just change in the near future.
