Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor does not want Paris Saint-Germain switch
Manchester City forward and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emmanuel-Adebayor-c12526 has gone on to rule himself out of possibly making a switch to Paris Saint-Germain in the summers.
The striker, who spent the second half of last season away on loan to Madrid, has been tipped to be heading out of City this summer. However, there has been very little too no contact from any team over the possibility of landing the striker.
The twenty seven year old forward, has gone on to state that he is overjoyed with the fact that the French side have shown interest in the player, but, he has also gone on to state that he has no intention of moving to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 just yet.
At the same time, the forward has stated that his thirst for trophies has resurfaced, ever since he spent time with Madrid.
When talking about PSG and his future, Adebayor is quoted to have said: "I say thank you to PSG for thinking of me. But, for all the respect I owe them, I will not go there”
“At http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728, I got a taste for what it's like winning a trophy. I can only go where we play to win trophies.”
Adebayor made his move to the Eastlands two seasons ago, from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. His move away from the Emirates was a highly controversial one, which saw many question the player’s integrity and what he wanted to do in the future. Most went on to label the player
as a money hungry, gold digger, whose sole purpose was to sign for teams that would be willing to pay him top dollar.
Nonetheless, it seems like all of that has now changed. The striker has gone on to state that he now wants to actually win a trophy or two, instead of just sitting around doing nothing.
At the same time, it is fairly obvious, that the forward is now surplus to requirements at the club, which means that the time for him to leave is either now or never. The striker seems to be sitting in some delusional world, where teams like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 would
come looking for him. However, it is high time that the player realizes, that he is not as good as he thinks he is.
The forward should try pursuing a move to PSG, because, if he lets this opportunity slip out of his hands, then he might just have to wait at least another six months before another team shows any signs of interest in signing the striker.
