Manchester City striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emmanuel-Adebayor-c12526 has gone on to state that he is now waiting for the final steps to take place, in order for him to complete his permanent switch to Real Madrid.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Togo-c3022 international is currently hoping on the fact that City and Madrid will soon work out a deal, which would see him part ways with the Manchester based team and head out for Madrid, permanently.
The twenty seven year old forward went on to spend the latter half of last season, on loan with Real Madrid. During that stay, he went on to make fourteen appearances for the team, while picking up five goals along the way.
When talking about his desires to join Madrid, Adebayor is quoted to have said: ''We [Adebayor and Mourinho] talked before we went on vacation''
"If he called me right now, I would catch the first plane out to Los Angeles and if I could play three or four years in Madrid and I would retire with the club.
"I do not want find another exit other than to return to Real Madrid. I am waiting for their call, hopefully it will occur.''
At the same time, the forward went on to tip Mourinho to being the best in the business and also stated that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728 were bound to win ample titles under the manager.
Adebayor also went on to highlight how Mourinho was head and shoulders better than any other manager in the business, while admitting that Madrid were more than likely to land trophies in the near future.
He went on to add: "He is the best coach I've worked with"
"No doubt about it, and Madrid will win titles with him.”
At the moment, Adebayor is stuck in Manchester while the rest of the City squad are in USA, taking part in the pre-season tour. The forward, along with another couple of players was informed that he was not going to be participating in the pre-season, which also suggested that his time at the club was now as good as over.
At the same time, Jose Mourinho went on to confirm last week that he was much closer to landing Adebayor, than he was to signing anyone else out there.
With Manchester City already making it clear that they have no room for the towering striker in their squad, it is now only a matter of time before he parts ways with the team. The striker is more than likely to be made available at a cut price, which is going to make this transfer all the more easier to go through with.
