wouldn’t be ready in time for either one of the games. The forward is now set to be in the hands of the Manchester City medical squad, who are trying to ensure the player returns to fitness as soon as possible.
"Balotelli's injury isn't too serious, but after consulting Manchester City, we've decided to send him back home," team doctor Enrico Castellacci was quoted to have said.

This new setback to Balotelli has the potential to greatly affect City and the way the side has been performing so far. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez set to be on his way out of the club in the near future,
Balotelli was going to be the team’s backup option. However, with him now suffering from a back problem, the team is left with only Edin Dzeko to pock from and this could prove to be a problem in the near future.
Nonetheless, with City now having a couple of days to get the player back in shape, all hope is not lost just yet.
