Manchester City target Hulk open to move away from Porto
Porto forward and Brazilian international Hulk has been linked with a move out of the Portuguese club for a while now.
Following the departure of Porto manager, Andre Villas-Boas to Chelsea, it was believed that the forward would follow in the footsteps of the manager and be on his way out as well. However, so far that has not been the case.
The club are reluctant on letting the player leave and would only be willing to do business with a club, that pays out the massive 100 million Euro buyout clause that his contract has.
Nonetheless, the twenty four year old has gone on to drop a massive hint, over the fact that he could potentially be looking to move out of the club, should the right offer be made for him. "But, as I said before, I’m totally focused on Porto, the club with which I have a contract for five years.
"Therefore, and as there’s nothing concrete, I can only talk about Porto."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436 then went on to add: "I have five years left on my contract, having renewed before going on holiday. Therefore, if I were to see out my contract until its end, I would be happy to continue winning titles [wearing] the Porto jersey."
We can decipher the players words in a number of ways, however, the most likeliest manner is the one which makes us believe that the forward is actually willing to move out of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984.
So far, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Manchester City have been the only clubs that have shown any interest in the player.
Nonetheless, City might just go on to edge past Chelsea in the chase for Hulk. The Blues are currently more focused on bringing in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Defence-c38904 and are now looking for offensive players, to bring into the club.
City’s desire to land Hulk has been no secret. The Manchester based team have made a number of enquires over the player, but have been turned down time and time again.
According to most experts, City have never been close to landing the Brazilian superstar. With Porto currently looking to do business, all City have to do, is to make a decent offer for the player. Despite his buy-out being set at a ridiculous price, should City make an offer worth around forty to fifty million pounds, Porto would have no option but to sell.
It is now going to be a wait to see, what card City throw in Porto’s direction.
