Manchester City have been given some bad news, since Lavezzi has admitted that he won’t be leaving http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 this season.
The Argentine has been on City’s radar for quite some time, but it seems like he has decided to extend his stay with the Italian club for one more season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan were also looking to make a move for the forward and were willing to offer cash plus a player to secure the services of the attacker.
However, the Argentine’s agent has now come forth and admitted that his client does not intend on leaving Napoli, given the fact that he never went public with his desire to do so.
At the same time, he isnsited that Lavezzi was more than happy with playing for Napoli and wished to do so in the future.
The attacker’s agent is reported to have said: "Lavezzi has never said that he wants to leave Napoli, and he has never met with Moratti"
"I know Inter technical director Marco Branca and sporting director Piero Ausilio like I know many other club officials, I represent 39 players and that is why I am often in Milan.”

"I read that Lavezzi threw a farewell party with his Napoli team-mates, but that is not true."
City are yet to go forth and table a bid for the player, or make an official inquiry about him. The team is currently intent on winning the Premier League and once they do so, they are going to go ahead and make all their transfers.
However, considering how the team looked at the player last summer and in the January transfer window, it seems like the team might just end up making a move for him in the summers.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has admitted that he wants to add some width to his team and given how prolific Lavezzi has been, he might look no further then the Argentine.
However, it is quite unclear as to how much Napoli would want for the player, but a fee of around twenty five millions seems like it might be able to do the trick this time around.
