Manchester City to bid for Sergio Aguero in the near future – Premier League Update
Manchester City manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero, within the next couple of days.
The Argentine international has gone on to become City’s prime target, following the interest shown by numerous clubs in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez. As a result, the Citizens have opted to turn their attention elsewhere, instead of pondering over how the departure of
Tevez might affect them.
Mancini, when talking about the situation and how the Aguero deal is developing, went on to state: "The clubs are talking. They only have one number and it does not work at the moment."
However, the manager then went on to state that City are hot on the player’s trail and are looking to wrap up a deal as early as possible.
Mancini, when asked about the exact date that a bid would be made for the player, responded by stating:"Maybe in the next days"
"I have not spoken to anyone about it, but probably. I think so."
At the moment, one of the prime factors that is holding the Aguero deal from going through, is Tevez’s stance at the club. Should the forward leave, then the club won’t even think about making a move for Aguero. On the other hand, should he end up staying,
the team might ponder over making such a dramatic move for Aguero.
Nonetheless, what City do have working in their favour, is the fact that Aguero has recently gone on to admit that he is willing to take a pay cut to move to the Eastlands. Those words, despite being rather bizarre, considering City’s history and wage rates,
still go to show that this deal is all the more likely to go through.
However, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has said, perhaps all that’s really left, is for both the teams to agree on a transfer fee now.
