in the Premier League. That makes the game a must win one for the Blues. The side was also boosted by the news of Carlos Tevez withdrawing his transfer request a few hours ago and has pledged his loyalty towards the Blue side of Manchester.
City have not lost a fixture in 7 consecutive Premier League games, which is only the fourth time in their history. However, Everton have managed to win 5 out of their last 6 Premier League games played with Manchester City, as the Citizens have not managed
to score in all of those 5 defeats.

Hart no chance to stop. That gave Everton a lead on their first real attack of the game that came on the 4th minute.
Everton really took the game to Man City since the opening goal and gave little or no possession away. The home side looked sloppy in defence and lost possession easily. That led to the side doubling their lead on the 17th minute as right back
Baines managed a superb distance goal. The player was beautifully laid off by Cahill and the right back unleashed a swerving shot which gave Hart no chance. team.
City failed to find the equalizers needed for them to go top of the league. Everton enjoyed playing the first half as their ferocious pace was too hot to handle for the Citizens. The manager would have to inject some fresh blood or change the tactics to
find the two goals or more to secure a good spot in the league.
At half time, Everton were two goals to the good, thanks to two marvellous goals by Cahill and Baines.
