Manchester City took on Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314, as they looked to pick up three points from the game and continue with the winning mentality that they had established this season.
The match kicked off with City dominating the proceedings early on and with QPR having no response for the English Champions.
16 minutes later, City went on to score the opening goal of the game. A corner came flying in towards Tevez, who snapped an effort at goal. However, the ball deflected into the path of Toure, who smashed the ball into the back of the net to give City the
lead.
From there on, City continued to dominate proceedings, but failed to score an another goal in the first half of the game.
The second half saw City continue to attack QPR, but the visitors managed to charge towards the City goal every now and then.
In the 59th minute, QPR managed to level things up in the game. Andy Johnson danced into the City area and snapped a shot at goal. Hart managed to keep the ball out, but Zamora was quickest to reach the rebound and nodded the ball back into the
net.
Almost instantly, City got back on the offensive and scored a goal in the 61st minute of the game. Tevez darted down the left side of the goal and crossed a ball to the near post. Dzeko went on to beat his marker and nodded the ball past the keeper
and into the back of the net.
The match continued at a slightly tamer pace following that goal, but City managed to kill the game in the stoppage time at the end of the second half.
Dzeko went on to swing at the ball wildly, but Tevez managed to deflect his effort into the back of the net and past the keeper.
As a result, City went on to win the game with ease, as they beat QPR by three goals to one at the end of the day.
