Manchester City will dominate Premier League: Dennis Law
Former Manchester City striker Dennis Law has claimed that the Citizens will become a dominant force in the English Premier League.
Law believes that the Sky Blues will overtake Manchester United to become the team to beat in the coming years.
Dennis Law has played for both Manchester City and Manchester United during his illustrious career, so when he makes a prediction about the future of both clubs, one should pay attention to what he is saying.
Law said, “The title this year is one thing they (Manchester City) may not win, but there's no reason why they can't go on to build their own dynasty just like, dare I say it, Sir Alex has over the last 20 years.”
The legendary striker was a part of the Manchester City squad during a fruitful period in their history. City were a force to be reckoned with in the 1960’s, and Law believes that the current crop of players will surpass the City squad that dominated the
League all those years ago.

United and City are gearing up for the all-important Manchester derby, which will take place on Saturday, 12 February, 2011 at Old Trafford. The outcome of that match will have a huge effect on the shape of the Premier League table.
Law said, “This (Manchester) derby is the most important for many years. The fact is both teams have a shot at winning the title and we haven't said that too often in recent years, have we?”
If the Red Devils manage to win it, they will go eight points clear at the top, making them favourites to go on and lift their 19th Premier League trophy. However, if the Citizens can pull off an upset against Sir Alex Ferguson’s men, they will
move to within two points of the leaders, and the title race will be thrown wide open once again.
