Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez nears AC Milan move while PSG look to jump in at the last minute
Manchester City striker and Argentine international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez is now all but certain to be on his way out of the Etihad Stadium in January.
The player has fallen out with the team on two occasions and from the way things are shaping up, the striker is going to be sold in the January transfer window.
At the moment, Italian side AC Milan are reported to be the favourites to land the player, only because they are the only team to have gone public with their intentions of signing the striker.
In fact, Tevez’s representative, Kia Joorabchian has gone on to admit that the forward has already agreed terms of a move for the strike to the Italian club. As it stands, the only thing holding the deal back, is Manchester City and their issue over letting
the player leave on a loan in January.
However, with so much time being wasted over the teams agreeing a mutual deal to see the player make the move, it seems like French side PSG are looking to step in and sign the player for themselves.
Galliani has become aware of the interest from the French side and is quoted to have said: "I can confirm the inclusion of Paris Saint-Germain [in the race to sign Tevez] and we are aware [of that]"
"I haven't heard from [PSG sporting director] http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056 as he works for another club and can do what he wants.”
"I expect to learn more in the coming days, but there is time to close the deal until the end of the transfer window, even if I would prefer to take him to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 before."
However, Galliani is well aware of the fact that City want to sell the player and is trying to work out a reasonable way to get City to agree to his terms.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has already admitted that Tevez’s future as a City player is over and the only thing that needs to be done, is for the team to accept an offer that would see the player leave.
Given the unstable nature of the player and how he act at his clubs, no club is willing to spend a massive transfer fee on the player, only to see him walk out when he feels like it.
As a result, the only offers City are receiving include a loan move in January, with the possibility of a transfer at the end of the season.
