Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko apologizes to Roberto Mancini – Premier League Update
Manchester City striker, Edin Dzeko has gone on to apologize to manager Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323, following his actions in the sides Champions League game against Bayern Munich.
During the game, City looked to dominate Munich early on in the game, but following two instances of poor defending, Mario Gomez went on to help the Germans go two goals up and with City failing to come back into the game, they eventually lost all the points on the night.
Dzeko was taken off during the second half and on his way off the pitch, he seemed to mouth off with Mancini and the manager apparently didn’t appreciate the player’s attitude.
Following the game, it was believed that Mancini wished to get a formal apology from Dzeko, otherwise he would be forced to drop the player from the team’s starting eleven.
Nonetheless, it seems like Dzeko has finally come around and has now gone on to openly apologize to the manager and the clubs fans for his behaviour during the game.
He told the club's official website: "I know my reaction [to being substituted] was bad and I have spoken to the guys and to the coach.

"I have apologised for the reaction and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 has accepted it and said that everything is okay and that we have to be positive for the next game.

"I was unhappy because we were 2-0 down and I wanted to win the game.

"It was something special for me to go back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904, where I played for a long time, and I wanted to do well and wanted the team to do well. Things didn't go well for us. That is why I was extra frustrated."
Dzeko’s strike partner at the club, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez also went down a very similar road with Mancini, but the Argentine refused to kit up and come onto the pitch during the game. This behaviour has now coast the player a two weeks suspension and he is more than likely to be dropped from the team.
Even if Tevez is asked to leave, City would still have a commendable strike force left at the club. The team would still have Dzeko, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 to choose from.
All in all, with Dzeko now apologizing to Mancini, he is more than likely to feature in City’s upcoming game against Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385, which is going to be a must win for the Manchester based club, following their midweek draw against Munich.
