Manchester City midfielder, Gareth Barry has admitted that Manchester City are feeling the pressure ahead of their game to Tottenham Hotspur.
City are set to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Tottenham are sitting in the third spot in the league table, but a win for the team and a loss for Manchester United could see the Spurs go all the way to the second spot.
England international, Gareth Barry has admitted that City are aware of this possibility and are mentally prepared to take on a Tottenham side, that has looked better than it has over the last couple of years.
When talking about the pressure on him and City going into the game with Tottenham, Barry is quoted to have said: "There's big pressure on us now"

"It's a vital part of the season. There are still a lot of games left, but this period now, after a little sticky patch, is important.”

"The game coming up against Spurs is a huge one in the title race. The lads aren't thinking about the money the club has spent at all - they're thinking about winning the league."

"Pressure can affect some players more than others.”

"Earlier in the season the players were playing a lot more freely. But at this stage it's all about getting three points and sometimes the football may not be as pretty."
With all the pressure now on City’s shoulders, it is going to be an interesting wait to see just how the team perform and whether or not they are able to pick up the win against the high flying Spurs.
