Manchester City’s James Milner expects United to go all out in FA Cup
Manchester City midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/James-Milner-c17706 expects Manchester United to go all out in the upcoming FA Cup game between United and City.
Both the Manchester based teams are set to face off against each other this coming Sunday and despite the slump in form that United have shown, Milner does not expect the game to be a walk in the park.
City have already beaten United by six goals to one in the Premier League, but there is a strong feeling that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson will be looking to make up for that in their upcoming game.
Milner believes the defeat hurt United badly and that City need to maintain their form, if they are to try and pick a win over the Red Devils once again.
Milner is quoted to have said:
“That will have hurt them bad”
“Everyone, from the players to the management, will be more than up for it.”
“As much enjoyment as we got from it, they probably felt three times as much pain.”
“We have got to be aware of that. It’s down to us to put another good performance and build on our [3-0] win over Liverpool [on Tuesday].”
United have gone on to lose two games at the hands of Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 and then Newcastle United. Both these games were being hailed as easy points for the Red Devils, but it seems like something is just not right at the club.
However, Ferguson seems to know just what to do and the manager is more than likely to make a number of changes going into the game against City.
At the same time, there is a strong feeling that Ferguson might finally break out and try to make a signing or two in the January transfer window.
Nonetheless, irrelevant to what United do, if City manage to play the way they did against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, they are more than likely to go on and beat their local rivals once again, as they claim the bragging rights for the second time in the same season.
It is now a wait till Sunday to see just what team comes out on top.
