Manchester City’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/James-Milner-c17706 hopes Mario Balotelli will get better with time
Manchester City midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 has gone on to express his concerns over the future of Mario Balotelli and has stated that he is hopeful the forward would mature with time.
Balotelli was up to his best this past weekend, when City took on LA Galaxy in a pre-season game. The Italian forward helped his side take the lead in the game, via a penalty and seemed to be ready to put in an impressive performance. Nonetheless, when the twenty year old went clean on goal, with no one by the keeper to beat, he decided to take the bizarre route as he tried an over the top backheel flick, which ended up missing the goal altogether.
This decision making in front of the goal, wasn’t received well by his team-mates and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini, who then went on to take the player out of the game. The manager went on to introduce Milner into the game instead of Balotelli and on his way off the pitch, the Italian forward had another clash of words with his manager.
A very confused Milner, when talking about Balotelli admitted that the player was a little confused to say the least. However he was hopeful that the Italian would get better with time.
Milner went on to state: "Obviously I would like him to put that into the back of the net, but Mario is Mario, he does some strange things sometimes"
"I think he's shown since he's been here he has obviously got great potential, but he's still young and still learning and hopefully he will get better and maybe learn from these sort of experiences."
Balotelli, is quite possibly one of the most confusing players, to every take to the field in the world of professional footballer. Despite being only twenty years old, he is well known all over the world. However, he isn’t necessarily known for all the right reasons. Most look up to Balotelli to come forth and do something so outrageous, that it would leave the world laughing at the player, or wondering if he is actually as old as he says he is.
At the same time, it is no secret that the forward has ample talent in his legs. The forward can shoot, pass, dribble, head the ball and keep hold of it brilliantly. All of that seems to be pointless, considering the fact that he just can’t keep his mind in check.
Hopefully http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 will be able to work on that with the forward and as a result, would help polish the player and help him reach his true potential.
