Manchester City’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 – Premier League Update
Manchester City goal keeper and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international, Joe Hart has come to the aid of his club and international team mate, Joleon Lescott, after the defender went on to score an own goal which helped Liverpool draw their game against Manchester City this
past weekend.
During the game, City went on to take the lead in the game via http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincent-Kompany-c36184, but their celebrations were short lived. Soon after the goal, Liverpool attacked the City area and Chalrie Adam took a pop at goal from distance. Lescott went on to stick his
leg out to prevent the ball from sailing into the back of the net and in doing so, he deflected the ball away from Hart and into the back of the net.
However, Hart, nor any of Lescott’s team mates are placing the blame on the defender since he was just doing what needed to be done.
When talking about the goal and Joleon’s actions, Hart is quoted to have said: "It happens. Joleon's one of the most honest defenders we've got. He apologised and he'll save us more times than he'll do that.

"We dug in, we went down to 10 and we got out of it with a result."

Had City won their game against Liverpool, they would have been seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table. However, with just a point being awarded to the team, they are now sitting five points ahead of Manchester United, who are hot on City’s
trail.
Hart still believes the result against Liverpool was a decent one for the team and considering they can’t win all their games, a draw is much better than a loss at any point in the season.

"We want to win every game but sometimes it's not possible. It's not an easy league and we're very happy," added Hart.
City are now set to take on Norwich this coming weekend, after a Carling Cup clash with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 on Tuesday night.
Given their draw against Liverpool, the team is going to be looking to turn the tide in their favour, as they look to bag all three points and pick up two back to back wins once again.
