Manchester City’s Roberto Mancini believes Carlos Tevez would have never acted the same way at Manchester United
Manchester City manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez would have not acted the same way, has he still been a United player.
The Argentine striker went on to refuse to come off the pitch and play for City in their Champions League game against Bayern Munich and since then, he has gone on to land in hot water at the club.
However, Mancini has gone on to admit that things would have been a whole lot different for the player, had he still been a United player.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 is quoted to have said: “It’s different at Manchester United, maybe 25 years ago you had this situation.
“We need to improve this but after three, four years, this situation won’t happen. Then we have the players we want. You can’t change it in two years.
“I looked at myself on the television and sometimes I was ashamed. Every day we can make a mistake.
"What’s important is that you apologise to everyone. I always apologise, the day after. You can say sorry to make things better.”
City have been facing a number of problems with their players lately. The likes of Edin Dzeko, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360, have all gone ahead and shown a number of sings of rebellion when they were substituted during games.
However, neither one of the players went on to behave the way that Tevez did. The striker practically took his frustration to a whole new level.
Nonetheless, in admitting that these problems would have not occurred at United, the manager has indirectly gone on to confirm that United might just be a bigger team than City. This is because problems such as these would only occur at teams coming up the
ranks, while established clubs would not tolerate such behavior.
Nonetheless, despite this fact what can be said assuredly, is that Tevez’s career at City is as good as over and it is only a matter of finding the right buyer for the team.
