Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz has confirmed that he expects to leave the club in January due to a lack of first team opportunities.
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has not considered Santa Cruz in the majority of games this season and admitted that the player would find it extremely difficult to make it into his starting 11.

Roque Santa Cruz has been a Manchester City players now for nearly 2 seasons, his time at the club has been dreadful, he's always either been injured or left on the bench. He has had to compete with players such as Ballotelli, Tevez, Bellamy, Robinho and Adebayor during his time at the club which has been hard for him, he wants to leave to play forst team football each week and actually play. He'll have to take a pay cut in order to do so but good on him I say. Fulham and Aston Villa seem to be his most likely destination for somewhere around 6 million (City originally paid Blackburn 17 million for him in 2009).
