Manchester City forward and Argentine goal scoring hero, Sergio Aguero has gone ahead and denied and all claims which suggest he taunted the Villarreal players after scoring the match winning goal for City last night.
During City and Villarreal’s Champions League match, both the sides were locked at a score of one all till the dying stages of the game. However, right in the death of the match, Aguero latched onto a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pablo-Zabaleta-c29022 cross and converted the ball over the
line to give his side the win.
Following the game there were rumours that started to float, which suggested the player went ahead and taunted the Spanish teams players after scoring the match winner.
Aguero took to his Twitter account right after the game and denied him ever resorting to such behaviour in the game.
"I have no interest in getting involved in controversies, but I have to deny having mocked a Villareal player," he said.
"Everyone can attest to my discipline and professionalism, I wouldn't do something like that."
Prior to the game, City had managed to pick up only one point from their previous two games in the Champions League. The team had drawn their opening game with Napoli and then went on to lose their second game to Bayern Munich.
