Manchester City’s striker and captain, Carlos Tevez, wants to leave Eastlands this summer
Manchester City’s influential skipper, Carlos Tevez, has publically expressed his desire to leave Eastlands this summer despite leading City to their first ever UEFA Champions League qualification.
There had always been doubts over Carlos Tevez’s future at Manchester City after the 27-year-old striker decided to leave Eastlands in the January transfer window and even handed a transfer request.
However, after holding talks with the club hierarchy, Tevez took back his transfer request and decided to stay with Manchester City for the rest of the season.

However, when Manchester City defeated Stoke City and leapfrogged http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 for the third place in the Barclays Premier League standings, Roberto Mancini confirmed that Carlos Tevez wants to stay at Eastlands.
Recently, Carlos Tevez has taken another U-turn by publically admitting that he will be looking for different options during the summer transfer window.
Carlos Tevez was in his homeland when he expressed his desire to leave Manchester City.
The Argentinean striker said, "I want to leave Manchester City. Football has changed a lot for me and I don't know if I will even make it to the next World Cup. And that has nothing to do with whether I'm selected or not. I've been treated very well here
and I'm grateful. I also gave everything for the club to receive the results it has had. But I need a change of scene".
Carlos Tevez also expressed his desire to once again play for his boyhood club, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Boca-Juniors-c38658, but admitted that he may not be able to join them due to financial problems.
Tevez added, “To go back to Boca Juniors would be beautiful but it is very difficult. But if we're speaking seriously, financial issues would make my return difficult”.
Carlos Tevez has been an integral part of Manchester City’s squad that won the FA Cup for the first time since 1969 and also secured the UEFA Champions League spot for the first time in the history of the club.
Tevez is also a joint top goal scorer of the Barclays Premier League’s current season. The Argentinean skipper has scored 21 goals in 30 League games this season.
