Manchester For New Years Eve?

I decided to go to Manchester for NYE.

I will be stopping in the YHA.

Can anyone advise on where are the best pubs/fun places to go?

Not too expensive please.

You might find it hard to get any tickets at the moment for any of the decent pubs in the city centre.

I would personally try Squares on Peter Street or the whetherspoons on Princess Street

I suggest on the Q.T.you try the A.T. till about 11pm then go to the S.K. get a boat with your A.M.then sit down watch the fireworks.After that around midnight you can go to the RTS which is within spitting distance of your Y.H.A. in there you can get a good RDS it tastes spectacular and the everyone of the waiters have a GSOH too.Anyways try the AK bar which stays open till 5  the morning I recommend an E if you are intent on staying up all night TTFN have fun
