The boards of the two Manchester clubs have agreed in the merging of the two English giants and the two sides will compete as one from the next Barclays Premier League season.
Talks were long in the waiting as Manchester United and Manchester City weighed up a joining of the two super famous English clubs.
Along with the rivalry that surrounds the two sides, especially after Manchester City’s emergence at the greatest stage of English football since the takeover of oil-rich Sheikhs of Abu-Dhabi, the two English powerhouses have looked each other straight in the eye.
City bagged the Premier League title in breathtaking fashion last season and Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson had it answered in this campaign, but one must not forget the great history of brotherhood that takes the tie of Manchester above cross town rivalries.
In 1974, when Manchester United got relegated, players of Manchester City offered there help to their city fellows and even joined them in the hunt to bring Premier League status back to the Old Trafford based side.
Also after the sad Munich air disaster of 1958, Manchester City Football Club sent their players to United to offer help in the remaining of the season, a gesture of profound gratitude which was gracefully and gently turned down by the suffering United.
However, it seems that the time has come when the Manchester giants will respond to the global dominance of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 in the European Club football, and a recent report has revealed that the two sides have had a pact signed of merging the two sides.
Sir Bobby Charlton also confirmed the news yesterday saying, “We are proud to have merged forces with our neighbours and together with them, we will become noisy in the entire European continent. We have named it as Manchester F.C and it will certainly take the world of football by a fever.”
The United City mergence will come as a huge blow for fellow European Clubs, who will certainly struggle to compete against the marvellous squad that the Manchester F.C now boasts.
I hope it did not cause any hear-breaks or heart attacks, as today I wanted to wish you a merry April fool.
