Manchester United and Manchester City looking to go head to head for Arsenal’s Samir Nasri
Following Arsenal’s inability to agree to a new contract with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360, over the course of the last six month, the midfielder has been linked with a potential move out of the Emirates. However, in a rather bizarre turn of events, it now seems like both
Manchester City and Manchester United are looking to secure a move for the player.
Despite it being reported that City were looking to hold talks with the midfielder’s representatives, it now seems like United are going to be the first team to go ahead and make the formal offer for the player. United are rumoured to be willing to offer
as much as twenty million pounds for the player initially, but, will be willing to go as high as twenty five million if required.
On the other hand, City are willing to offer United’s offer for the player, but will be willing to go even higher if required. At the same time, City are rumoured to be on the brink of completing a seven million pound signing for Gael Clichy.
There have not been any comments from City over the possibility of landing both Clichy and Nasri, but, according to most experts should it come down to a bidding war, City are more than likely to win.
At the same time, if Nasri is to opt to make a move to one of the two clubs, it seems like he might be willing to join United.
At the start of these transfer rumours, when Nasri was made aware about the interest from Manchester United, the player was quoted to have said: “Do I want to go to United? We should see if their interest is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728 and if it is concrete first”
While hearing all these rumours, it is rather amazing to see http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 not try their level best to keep a hold of Nasri. The midfielder has simply asked to be paid what he’s worth and due to the brilliant performances that he put in last season, Nasri deserves
to be making much more than what he is getting at the club right now.. However, the Gunners officials find it close to impossible to meeting the player’s demands, which to most seems inexplicable to say the least.
Apparently, the team is willing to lose out on one of their stand out players, for a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bare-c7300 minimum price, but, they aren’t willing to offer him some extra cash, just to keep him around for a little longer.
Nonetheless, with both teams looking to duke it out for the player, it is now going to be up to Nasri to decide what team he eventually wants to join, should he opt to quit the Emirates.
