Manchester United and Manchester City target Wesley Sneijder up for sale
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799 has been linked with a move to Manchester, for nearly two months now. The midfielder has been reported to be amongst the top targets for the team, but so far, neither club has had any luck while pursuing the player.
However, it seems like all of that could change, as the player has gone on to admit that he could potentially be sold before the start of the season.
The player talked about how http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 were currently in desperate need of money and if a team was to make a decent offer for him, he would be on his way out of the Italian clubs.
Sneijder, when talking about the situation at the San Siro and in regards to his future is quoted to have said: "All I know is that Inter need money and that I'm for sale if the right offer comes in. I have five days off after the international friendly
against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 on Wednesday. I expect clarity on my future by then"
Sneijder, who has played for both Ajax and Real Madrid in the past, then went on to target the two teams that were targeting him, but at the same time, he confirmed that so far, no talks had been held between him or either one of the two teams.
Sneijder, when reflecting on the possibility of moving to United or City, went on to add: "I can be very brief about the interest from Manchester United and City: I haven't spoken with either of those two clubs, so I can't really say much about my future
at the moment."
The Dutch international is currently under contract with the Italian club until 2015, that means the twenty seven year old, has a massive three and a half years left on his contract with the team. That contract is one of the reasons behind Sneijder’s transfer
being as massive as it is.
At the moment, it is being reported that Inter Milan are going to be willing to sell their prized asset for a fee of forty million Euros.
That being said, both City and United had previously gone on to ease up on their interest in Sneijder. The two teams started looking elsewhere, but this new development, is bound to get them back in the loop.
Sneijder has previously admitted that he would prefer to make a move to United over City, however, if City are the only team willing to pay top dollar, then Sneijder might just be on his way to the Etihad stadium instead.
