Manchester United and Real Madrid want Gareth Bale
Manchester United and Real Madrid may try to tempt Tottenham Hotspur into selling Gareth Bale during the next transfer window.
The player has carried on with his exceptional form from last season and has proved to be a match winner in the Premier League and Champions League for manager Harry Redknapp this season.
Real Madrid are prepared to offer a £30 million transfer fee for the versatile left sided midfielder, while Manchester United are set to renew their interest after they offered £20 million for the Spurs player during the summer.
However, Redknapp is adamant that the Welshman  is going nowhere and said of Madrid’s interest, “Jose certainly knows a player when he sees one. But one thing is for sure. I am not letting Gareth go anywhere. Mourinho can enjoy watching
Gareth all he likes but he will be going nowhere.”
Redknapp believes that Bale would not desire a move to either club and that he wants to be part of a Spurs side that is playing in the Champions League and improving every season.
Redknapp said that “Bale is one of the best players in his position in the world. Tottenham is a team on the up and we are building something at White Hart Lane.”
Bale committed himself to a four-year contract in May despite interest from Manchester United and it appears that Alex Ferguson would not be able to compete with the resources that Madrid have even if Bale requested a move.
The Welshman is seen as an ideal replacement for his fellow country man Ryan Giggs at Old Trafford.
If Spurs don’t manage a top four finish and fail to make the Champions League next season, Redknapp may face a difficult test in keeping a player who has become one of the most exciting left footed players in the Premier League.
