Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson wants Luka Modric : Transfer Rumours

Rumors are spreading fast: Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson wants Luka Modric from Tottenham and he is willing to do what it takes to make it happen.

Three for one deal is on the cards where Ferguson is willing to give Harry Redknapp a tempting offer to pick three players from Manchester United in return for Tottenham’s aggressive midfielder Modric.

Manchester United missed the Champions Leagues championship by a stone throw and Ferguson is busy trying to make sure the next year is different. Modric was linked to move to Old Trafford in the past but this time around the stakes are much higher and could be tempting for Redknapp.

Three for one deal is not just any three players; if that was the case, Redknapp would have snapped Rooney and the likes but Ferguson is offering Midfielders Anderson, Michael Carrick and the goal keeper Tomasz Kuszczak.

Lucka Modric looks settled at White Hart Lane and has done really well for the club but can he really pass a tempting offer from one of the top football clubs in the world. Manchester United has a very good chance for the Premier and Champions League titles; can Modrick ignore that?

One of the advantages of big clubs is the possibility of winning titles; beside cash their championship possibilities are also used as a bargaining chips to sign players.

Redknapp would have to look for the best interest of the club but how he uses Modric chip is going to be interesting to see. For now Redknapp has told Ferguson that Modric is not for sale.
