Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes winning treble will be harder than 1999
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed that the Red Devils will find it a lot harder to win the treble of the FA Cup, Champions League and Premier League crowns in the ongoing 2010-11 season than they did in 1999.

However, it’s not United’s opposition that worries manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The Scot admits that the biggest stumbling block in Manchester United’s path to glory is their injury troubles.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who is currently serving a five match touchline ban, is aware of the challenges his side faces, and he claims that the current crop of players have their work cut out for them if they want to repeat their treble winning heroics
of 1999.
Ferguson said, “It is going to be more difficult than it was in 1999. We didn't have the injuries we do now. There is a great desire to do it but we have so many injuries to defenders at present. We will never give in though. No matter what happens, you
always feel Manchester United will score in the last minute.”
He added, “We must have a chance but it is more difficult than it has ever been.”
Manchester United are currently in first place in the Premier League standings, five points ahead of nearest competitors Arsenal, and having played a game more.
