Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson insists a win over Chelsea will win them the EPL title
Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, revealed that he was certain his side could go on to claim the Premier League title with a win over Chelsea at Old Trafford this Sunday, May 8th.
The Blues are currently just three points behind the Red Devils and could go on top of the table with a win over the weekend.
Both sides have everything at stake in the match this Sunday. While Manchester United is on their way to win their 19th league title, Chelsea is hoping to retain its Premier League title and end a very disappointing season on a high note.
Either side will need to win all the remaining games to ensure the Premier League title, but they are well aware a win this weekend is the most crucial one. The United boss revealed he was aware of the importance of the upcoming clash against the Blues.
While speaking to reporters, Ferguson said, “Everyone is aware of the magnitude of Sunday's game. If we win, we should win the league. It is a game we are looking forward to. Last Sunday's result (at Arsenal) has certainly brought us an awareness of how
important this week's game is”.
