Manchester United defender Patrice Evra signs new contract with the club
Manchester United talismanic left back Patrice Evra has officially signed a new deal that will see him stay at the club until 2014.

The Frenchman was constantly linked with Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid during the January 2011 transfer window, as the Madrid manager sees Evra as a prefect player to fill the left back spot of the Galacticos. Moreover, it was also reported that the Manchester
United left back has emerged as the top target of the Spanish giants in the next transfer window.
However, Evra rubbished such rumours and ended all the speculation by signing a new contract that will ensure his stay at Old Trafford for a few more years.
The 29-year-old left back has become one of the most consistent and vital members of the Manchester United line-up since making his £5 million move from Monaco in 2006.
