Manchester United defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrice-Evra-c29231 wants Barcelona re-match – Champions League News
Manchester United full-back and French international, Patrice Evra has gone on to state that him, along with his team mates want a re-match with Spanish giants, Barcelona. The Catalans went on to beat the Red Devils in the finals of the Champions League,
once again, but Evra seems to be looking forward to be facing the team in next year’s tournament.
Prior to this year’s finals, United had met Barcelona in Rome, in the 2009 Champions League finals. In Rome, the Catalans went on to beat Manchester United by two goals to nil. However, in this year’s finals, which took place in Wembley, things were a little
different, but played in favour of the Spaniards.
Barcelona took the lead through Pedro in the first-half via http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296
and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Villa-c10629 get on the score sheet. In the end, Barcelona cruised past United, with a score line of three goals to one, in favour of the Spanish out-fit.
Despite losing out to Barcelona on both these occasions, Evra seems to more than confident that United have what it takes to beat the Spanish club. As a result, he seems to be relishing the opportunity to face them, once again when the Champions League kicks-off
this coming season.
When talking about the possibility of facing Barcelona once again, Evra is quoted to have said: "We are not afraid. I want to come back to the final and play against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 again."

The player then went on to state that the loss in the finals this season, if anything has made him and his team-mates all the more determined to go on and lift the European trophy this coming season.
Evra then went on to add: "Manchester United had a good season. Not a great season because we didn't win on Saturday night.

"But we have still won the league and we are going to win the league again next year, and make sure we win the Champions League as well."
Evra seems to be showing a lot of confidence, for someone who has been rather humiliated by a team. Nonetheless, this confidence could prove to be the key for Manchester United, should the team get pooled with Barcelona in next seasons Champions League.
Nonetheless, should United play the same way they did in this year’s finals, they might as well forget about facing off against Barcelona altogether.
