Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand wants his team to remain calm against Manchester City
Manchester United centre-back http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rio-Ferdinand-c31173 has urged his team to remain calm in the FA Cup semi-final against their local rivals Manchester City at Wembley, and has asked them to play the game, not the occasion.
The English defender also claimed that Sir Alex will try to make sure that all the players should take the FA Cup semi-final as a normal match against a strong team like Manchester City.
Rio Ferdinand said, “The manager always says you don't play the occasion you play the game. If you get too wrapped up in all the stuff that goes on around it you lose sight of where you want to get to. We won't be taking much emotion into the game the way
the fans do. We have to remain calm. Then anything is possible.”
