Manchester United’s twin defenders, Rafael and Fabio Da Silva, believe that their team should go out attacking against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley Stadium on May 28, 2011.
Rafael Da Silva believes that his team should trouble the Catalans consistently in the game and force them to go on the back foot. The former Fluminese starlet believes that Barcelona does not like to be attacked and United must ensure that they pressurize Pep Guardiola’s side consistently.
Rafael told the reporters: "I don't see why we can't hurt them if we stick to a game plan where we don't make the same mistakes made by some of their opponents. Basically, Barcelona do not like being attacked or pressured. We need to make them feel uncomfortable."
On the other hand, Rafael’s identical twin, Fabio, added that United have some of the best players in the world and they can easily beat any top team. The full-back has a lot of respect for manager, Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson, and believes that the Scot’s experience can help United to lift the Champions League.
The 20-year-old added that the manager still mixes him with his brother, Rafael, but he has extraordinary influence on their development since their arrival at Old Trafford.
Fabio added: "We have a side full of confidence and good players and shouldn't fear Barcelona. Sir Alex knows everything about football and he loves the Brazilian style. He is crazy about Cafu, our idol. There was a match where he came to me in the dressing room and started to tell me off, but calling me Rafael. He still gets us confused, but it doesn't matter.”
The duo watched from the sidelines when United lost 2-0 to the Catalans in their previous meeting with the Spanish Champions and they are eager to make amends for that loss. Rafael and Fabio will fight it out for the right-back berth for the final and it does not matter for either of them on who gets the nod, as their main focus is on United’s victory.
