Don't you feel like he is a backstabber.

I am an AVFC fan but I have the right to think what I want.

Mark Hughes moved to Chelsea (From Man Utd), which is not very loyal and now he is managing Man City, does he not have any respect, its similar to Ronaldo, but in the past

  1. sparky was a great servant to united and i'm proud he was part of our club.. when he went to chelsea they was not the force they are now .. but matty harding built them to be a decent side ..as for city ..for me they are a sleeping giant and i'm finding it interesting to see how he copes with them...

  2. first of all players aren't like fans

they are just a bunch of  "hired emplyoees"

so there is no question of loyalty.

mark hughes moved to chelsea that is fine with me. he like everyone else is just a employee and he has the right to go where he wants, if he has the permission of the club and doesn't "degrade" the image of the club like ronaldo did.

he respected the club and declared he wanted to go and club agreed. so that was just normal..

as to managing another EPL team, i think we are proud of him and wht he has done, not because he has become our enemy but he has learnt some valuable lessons from man u and ussed them to manage a new team.

its like the happiness a school feels when its ex- student becomes good enough to  manage another school.

  3. i am an avid MANCHESTER UNITED fan, now when MARK HUGHES (SPARKY) left for barcelona i was gutted, but when he came back i was elated, he formed a partnership with (choccy) BRIAN McCLAIR which was telepathic and for me gave the best years of his playing career to UNITED, don't forget this man went on to play for southampton to elongate his playing career, i will always regard him as a legend, somewhat like denis law, and he back heeled us into a relegation dog fight which we lost. no self respecting MANCHESTER UNITED fan would have anything but the highest of regard for SPARKY and in a way hope him all the success at S****y, but only up to a point, he is destined to be UNITED's boss one of these years and while at S****y i hope he builds up a relationship with young schmeichel so he will follow in his dads footsteps.

P.S.the rubbish printed about RONALDO this summer was comical, and now the press are having a pop at VIDIC when you are a hardened UNITED fan you learn to take all this nonsense on the chin. i appreciate villa birmingham rivalry but there are some players you will always forgive.

  4. I too have nothing against Mark..Silvestre left us for Arsehol, but does that make him a back stabber? No! He did what he felt was good for him, since he knew that he wouldn't get to play...

And I support his decision A football player luvs to play, and only a few stay as bench warmers for the rest of their careers..

I think Mark had a similar problem and I think he's a great manager.

  5. I think you'll find that most United fans aren't bothered because City are no threat.

If he manages to turn City into a real threat then ask the question again.

  6. You should be pleased the guy is doing well, both at Blackburn and maybe at City, time will tell, after all he has to learn the trade somewhere before the boot chucker goes

  7. He went to Chelsea when he was way past his best, and Chelsea were c**p at the time any way.

How can a proper Man Utd fan ever turn their back on a true legend like Sparky, remember his goals against Oldham in the F.A cup semi final and in the Cup winners cup final against Barca.

It would be like a Villa fan turning his back on Andy Gray, you just dont let heros pass by, because they have moved on.

  8. No.At the end of the day,he's a professional and he did what was right for his career. He did the correct thing.

  9. Is that a rugby team cos they are all ways on the ground Manch un

  10. That is utterly ridiculous!!

    Please see my avatar!!

If you cannot its Mark Hughes hold aloft the ECWC in 1991.

He was my hero and he has done no wrong since leaving Manchester United. When he joined Chelsea they were even more nobodies than they are today. By joining Manchester City he wanted a fresh challenge and a chance to prove that he could do it elsewhere. He has a very professional attitude towards his work and to think that he would join Manchester City for spite is non sensicle.

Bigger and better things lay ahead for that man and that doesnt need spelling out to anyone.

  11. I dont mind the guy. When a football player moves teams then ofcourse he'll help his future team as hard as he can but some footballers take it over the top and backstabbing the previous football team.

    Peace

  12. i have nothing against Mark Hughes, if i was a footballer i would like the choice to move club and as for managing our arch rivals, well maybe he could not get a better job?

  13. who cares? its an incestuous industry anyway.

what do Chelsea fans think of Dennis Wise being at Newcastle?

And talk about backstabbers...what do you call Gareth Barry. Your club CAPTAIN who wants to play for Liverpool. I suppose he's a model of morality...

Nemanja Vidic has just come out and said how much he hates Manchester, and that the best thing about Manchester is the train timetables at the stations that show other less 'rainy' destinations...

    how loyal is that?

    soccer players are stupid.
