Manchester United forward Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez deems United as best team in the world
Manchester United’s Mexican striker, Javier Hernandez has gone on to deem United as the best team in the world. The striker came forth and made these comments after helping the Red Devils pick a win over Marseille in the UEFA Champions League last night.
United edged past the French team by two goals to one and both of the goals scored came via Hernandez, who seems to have picked up sublime form at the club. As a result of this win, United are now in the last-eight of the Champions League for the fifth seasons
running.
Hernandez has managed to score sixteen goals in his short career at United already and it seems like the sky is the limit for the striker. He has already managed to get the nod over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitar-Berbatov-c11254 on a number of occasions now and it seems like it won’t
be long before he becomes a regular starter for the team.
The striker seems to be shocked with his form himself and has gone on to thank just about everyone for it.
Hernandez is reported to have said, "No honestly, not in truth. I didn't expect to play as much so I need to thank my team-mates, the coaching staff and God above all for the fact things are going so well for me."
He then went straight ahead to focusing his attention to his club and his team-mates and added, "I always say I am in the best team in the world. My goals are down to the work of the whole team."
The movement and mentality that Hernandez shows on the pitch is well beyond his years. The 22-year-old striker seems to be the player United have been missing for so long, some have even gone on to label him as the new ‘Ruud Van Nistelrooy.’
The striker seems to have adopted the same role at the club as the Dutch legend with his super impact that he gives to the side after coming off the bench. The 16 goals that are credited to his name have come in 33 appearances for the club and most of those
appearances have been off the bench.
Hernandez officially signed with the Red Devils on July 1, 2010, for a reported fee of eight million pounds. Considering his recent form and performances for United, the deal can be termed as one of the biggest bargains Ferguson has ever made.
At the moment it is expected that the Mexican is on his way to getting a new and improved contract to tie him down to Old Trafford, only because his displays are catching the eyes of numerous teams across Europe.
