Manchester United front runner for Michel Bastos but they battle Tottenham
The rumours are starting to intensify about Bastos possible move to Manchester united where the club is willing to pay 24 million pounds for the Brazilian star.
Manchester United is not the only club interested and Tottenham Hotspur is just as willing and ready to bring the Brazilian left back to it’s starting line up.
Bastos, 26 will be starting as a left back for Brazil at the World Cup but is equally comfortable on the wing. With Brazil star-dub line up, Bastos is expected to do well, which is why Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur want to seal the deal before the price jumps up.
Bastos didn’t really have a good season at his current club Stade Gerland since signing from Lille last summer, but Daily Mail reported that he still impressed Scouts from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
The interest from Premier League clubs has intensified after Bastos stepped up in the Champions League last term and more recently his goal scoring performance against Zimbabwe. More is expected to come out in the next week or so.
