Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar says he will not return to Ajax
Manchester United veteran goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has revealed that he has no intentions of making a return to his former club Ajax and expressed his desire to stay at Manchester United in a non-playing role.

The 40-year-old shot-stopper has already announced that he will retire after the end of the ongoing 2010-11 season. Van der Sar, who has been exceptional in the current campaign, has claimed that the will not be able to fulfil his promise of returning to
Amsterdam which he made 12 years ago.
Moreover, it has been reported that he will be given a coaching role at Manchester United after the end of the current season.
However, when van der Sar announced his decision to retire, he revealed that he is only hanging his gloves in order to spend more time with his family, especially with his wife, who is a brain patient.
