Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel rates Sir Alex Ferguson as the best manager in the world
Former Manchester United goalkeeper, Peter Schmeichel, believes that Sir Alex Ferguson’s eye to judge a player makes him the best manager in the world.
Ferguson signed Schmeichel in 1991 and the goalkeeper went on to play a key part in United’s success during his eight-year stint with club.

best out of each of his squad members.
The 47-year-old added that Dwight Yorke’s signing in 1998 was a very intelligent buy from the great Scot; apart from his inspirational performances on the pitch, Yorke had immense influence on the dressing room as well.
Talking to the reporters, Schmeichel said, "He is someone who could spot the player's actual level. He could spot the player and say: In three months time this player will not be valuable for this club and that's why he has to go.”
