The veteran manager has asked fans supporting the Red Devils against Liverpool in the fourth round of the F.A Cup to be positive and loud but to respect the stewards and the rules of the stadium in general...
Manchester United’s manager has come out and requested the club’s fans to behave themselves at Anfield on the weekend when the Red Devils take on Liverpool in their fourth round F.A Cup tie. In what is already one of the most anticipated
fixtures of the season, the recent developments have added further fuel to the fire as United’s meeting with Liverpool earlier on in the season gave birth to several controversies which have resulted in disastrous consequences for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809.
Manchester United’s captain http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrice-Evra-c29231 appealed to the F.A against the racist remarks that were targeted at him by Liverpool’s striker Luis Suarez and since then the Football Association have taken action against the Liverpool
goal scorer and banned him for eight matches.
Suarez will miss the match against Manchester United for sure but fans will be gearing up to give a hostile reception to Evra and co. on their visit to Anfield on the weekend as well. Liverpool have found it hard to create goal
scoring chances without Suarez in their line up and as a result Kenny Dalglish’s men have slipped down the Premier League table to seventh place spot.
Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 said in his interview, "I wrote to fans attending the away match in October urging them to co-operate with stewards and officials at Liverpool so we can make a strong case for restoring our allocation for future United
games at Anfield”
He added, "The fans did almost everything asked of them that day and as a result, we have a much improved allocation for this important FA Cup tie. Please do everything you can to continue that good work and protect next season's
allocation. FA Cup ties are tense affairs at the best of times. Add in the fact that Manchester United against Liverpool is the biggest game around and it becomes even more so.”
Sir Alex will hope that his team can dispose of Liverpool in the fourth round of the F.A Cup after knocking out Manchester City in the last round of the tournament by winning their tie against the Citizens by three goals to two
at the Etihad stadium.
