Manchester United look to replace Wayne Rooney with Ajax striker Luis Suarez in next transfer window
Rumours have it that the Premier League side Manchester United are looking to make a comeback from the Wayne Rooney drama.
In today’s press conference, Manchester United’s legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson stated that the fear of Rooney leaving Old Trafford had arrived since the summers.
He explained that the player was unhappy at the club and therefore, along with his personal problems, his career had deteriorated at a fast pace.
That was just part of the press release; it was further stated by the Scotsman that they were ready to present a better offer than any English club but the White Pele was unwilling to even discuss that.
It is expected that the English international will soon be coming up with an answer to these allegations: with Manchester City, the archrivals of the Red Devils, coming up with a bid of 100 million pounds for 24-year-old striker
that started his career from Everton.
Now the latest from Manchester United is that the English giants are planning to snatch the Uruguay star Luis Suarez.
Reports have it that a 25 million bid is being formulated for the World Cup star currently playing in Ajax. If all goes well, he might be arriving in England in the January transfer window.
For now, all that depends on Rooney’s expected statements and how long the striker intends to stay with the club.
The 23-year-old prodigy, Suarez, has only just recently risen to fame despite outstanding performances for his team. His fame in Europe is growing exponentially after acquiring 49 goals in 48 appearances last season.
His is considered one of the best marksmen and the 2010 FIFA World Cup helped in improving that image. He was the pivot along with former Manchester United player Diego Forlan that took their country Uruguay to the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, the Celeste were at last beaten by Germany in a 3-2 encounter. Ajax have already fought tooth and nail to hold their prized striker at Amsterdam Arena this summer but the bids and price of the striker keep rising
and they might eventually be forced to bid their farewell to their star. With an amount already set for the January transfer window, all eyes are now on Rooney and his press conference.
