Manchester United looking to offer Chicharito new contract – Premier League update
It appears as though Manchester United are looking to offer Mexican International, Javier Hernandez, a new and improved five year contract at the club. This new deal will of course see the player get tied to Old Trafford until 2016 and would help kill off
any rumours linking him with moves elsewhere.
Hernandez who is more commonly known as Chicharito, is expected to get a major pay raise and other lucrative offers which would see him cave in and put pen to paper to any extensions that United want him to agree to.
Prior to United wanting to extend the player’s contract, there were countless rumours linking him with a potential move to Real Madrid in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011. This was because it seemed like Jose Mourinho, the manager of Madrid, had grown infuriated with the strikers
at the Spanish club and had identified Hernandez as the player who he needed to fix things at his club. However with United now looking to renew his contract, it seems like Madrid will have to look elsewhere to find a striker.
Hernandez joined United in the summers from Mexican side Chivas for a fee worth around eight million pounds. It was previously assumed at the time of his purchase that United were paying a little too much for a player who no one had previously had heard
of. However a couple of appearances later, those very same critics went on to label Hernandez as the bargain of the season.
So far the forward has managed to score ten goals in twenty appearances for United in the League, most of those goals and appearances have been from the bench and the player has made only nine starts for the team. In total, Hernandez has managed to score
thirteen goals for the team and looks like he is bound to add to that tally before the current season comes to a close. What is the most notable fact, is that the player is currently the second highest scoring player at United and that is a rather brilliant
record for someone in his debut season with the club.
At the moment it seems like the sky is the limit when it comes to Hernandez, as the player has shown that he can score from almost any where on the pitch and in almost any manner. The player can head, shoot, run past defenders and do just about anything
you would want your striker to do. This is probably why other European clubs are interested in acquiring the striker.
If Hernandez manages to keep this form up, then he could potentially be the next Oleguna Solsjkeair at the United.
