Manchester United looking to spend big
Manchester United, apparently only retained the services of Wayne Rooney due to the fact that the player was assured the fact that his team were going to be making a number of big name signings, to help the team perform even better in
future.
The clubs owners are apparently also well aware of this fact and are willing to offer Alex Ferguson as much as a hundred million pounds to spend in the market on new players.
The three players that the manager has seemed to short list are, Franck Ribery, Wesley Sneijder and Gareth Bale. All three of those players are among best in the world currently having made immediate impacts at their respective clubs.
Wesley Sneijder has been on wanted list of Red Devils for a very long time, having been pursued in the past on a number of occasions. However the player has recently gone to public and admitted to the fact that if he was to make
a move to any team, it would be to Manchester United and none else. That along with the fact that the player is currently struggling at Inter Milan under new manager Rafa Benitez, might just tempt him enough to make his move away from the club sooner than
expected, if the offer is to present itself to him in the near future.
Bale on the other hand, has been quite possibly the soul of the Tottenham side; the player has been performing tremendously and even managed to score his debut hat-trick in the Champions League. Ever since Bale made his debut in
the English league, he has been dubbed to be the best 'Left sided' player around, this is because the player is so athletic it is close to impossible to contain him to any one spot on the left side of the pitch.
The last person on the list of potential buys for the Red Devils is, Franck Ribery. Ribery has been a consistently brilliant performer for Bayern Munich over the last couple of years, however after some recent scandals his form has
dropped a bit. The player has been reported to have said that should an opportunity arise, which would allow him to leave Germany, he might just take it. That opportunity seems to be on its way in the shape of a transfer to Old Trafford.
All three of the players however will more than definitely have to wait till the summer transfer window, in hopes of being pursued by United as a move for either one of them in January would be useless to both the players and the
club.
