The Russian winger of Arsenal, Andrei Arshavin has claimed that Manchester United’s defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers have softened Arsenal’s pain after the Gunners let their four-goal lead slip against Newcastle United at St. James Park.

Arshavin continued that the home advantage played a major role and added, “I think it helped them that they were playing at home. When you play at the stadiums where the stands are close to the pitch and both the teams and the fans are very close, you can
appreciate the charm of such arenas.”
