Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson believes Arsenal is a serious threat – Premier League

Manchester United’s long term manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, has gone on to state that Arsenal have managed to re-arrange the pecking order when it comes to listing title challengers for the Premier League. The manager went on to state that at the moment Arsenal are more likely to cause a serious threat to the Red Devils, as compared to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, Tottenham and Manchester City.
These comments were Ferguson’s first, since Sunday, when his squad lost to Liverpool with a score line of three goals to one. Following the defeat, United are now only three points clear of the Gunners, who also happen to have a game in hand.
At the moment United and Arsenal are also set to face-off on Saturday in a scheduled FA Cup clash. Talking about Arsenal, Ferguson is reported to have said: "Last season they (Arsenal) faded around the February to March period to leave Chelsea and ourselves in a two-horse race that saw us pipped at the post by a point.”
"But Arsene Wenger and his players have rearranged the pecking order somewhat to come storming through to lie in second place.”
"Clearly they represent the main danger to us achieving our ambitions in a revival of the rivalry of a few years ago, and I am sure they regard us as the major threat to their hopes."
The manager then went on to address the loss to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and stated that he had no excuses for the defeat and would now get his team to get themselves back together and hope they perform better in the future.
Arsenal and United at the moment are currently in top form and are looking to give fans a match to remember. The last time these two sides met was in the Premier League at Old Trafford, where after a brilliant encounter, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Park-Ji-Sung-c29147 went on to score a freak goal thanks to a header to give United the win.
However, this time around things might be quite different, for more than just one reason. First, Arsenal are now in the running to win only two trophies and will be looking to end their season with at least one addition to their trophy cabinet. On the other hand United are looking to redeem themselves following the loss against Liverpool and are also looking to end their season with at least one trophy.
Neither one of the two managers is going to be looking to take any chances in the game. At the moment it is expected that both Arsenal and United will field a full-strength side. However at the same time, both the managers will not be looking to take any major risks as they would not like their campaign in the FA Cup to cost them their chances of landing the Premier League Cup at the end of the season.
